+ There's a style to the music.
+ There's a fashion to the words.

+ There's a seduction in the sound of Jay West, but what makes it provocative is all within the details.

+ The Jay West Perspective is romantic. The Jay West Aesthetic is tailored. The Jay West agenda is to INSPIRE. “Southern California’s Newest Buzzworthy Artist” is preparing a follow-up to the cult classic mixtape, “Drugs+Candy”. The table is set.

+ Say Grace.

These are actually from last season.
I just saw them in my archives and realized I never posted.
They're timeless looks. I might do one of these looks this weekend. Damn!

New Music: GILLES "Epitome of Arrogance"

I wake up this morning to find a press release in my inbox from my best friend. What's the world coming to? I just saw the guy yesterday and I didn't hear about this! His name is Gilles (pronounced JILZ) and he is warming up the world for the release of his mixtape LP, SUCCESSFULLY LOST. I did a record with Gilles for the project and I'm pretty excited about it. You will be to. Gilles is the kind of guy that's going to draw the world into his playground. Don't just take my word, take the music. Here's a free download of "Epitome of Arrogance" produced by SMKA and here are Gilles' words on the record...

Epitome of Arrogance by Gilles:

Imagine if “COOL” had a movie…It would probably be starring that dude from the Dos Equis commercials. But we digress. Let’s paint the picture: You pull up to an extravagant, not-so humble abode. There are only a few cars in the driveway and it appears that a young lady has dropped her wallet, perhaps, while hastily making her way through the entrance.

Notice the sign on the door:

“Stumble into the palace. In efforts to keep the place tidy, we ask that you remove all articles of clothing previously worn outdoors…We’re afraid that includes undergarments too. Sorry, it’s our after-hours policy. Ladies, kindly decide our breakfast menu for the following morning…Thanks.
- - Management”
Now, imagine the soundtrack.
