+ There's a style to the music.
+ There's a fashion to the words.

+ There's a seduction in the sound of Jay West, but what makes it provocative is all within the details.

+ The Jay West Perspective is romantic. The Jay West Aesthetic is tailored. The Jay West agenda is to INSPIRE. “Southern California’s Newest Buzzworthy Artist” is preparing a follow-up to the cult classic mixtape, “Drugs+Candy”. The table is set.

+ Say Grace.

All Black Everything

The 10 Best Black Items for the Summer> VIA Complex Mag.

For the Autumn 2009, CLAE stays true to form. They pretty much stayed in line with what they've been doing but with some different takes on colorways and materials. Take a peek at these and then have a look at the LOOK BOOK (pdf) in full.

Kid Cudi Interview

I'm lazy with the posts today.
No writing, no photos. Just videos. Just codes. lol

Whatever, you like it.

TRON Trailer

holy smokes!

Fabolous Ft. Keri Hilson and Ryan Leslie

A lot of artists do the obligatory collabs with the hottest artists on the charts and it just doesn’t work for them. The synergy of Ryan Leslie and Fabolous made so much sense when Fab jumped on Leslie’s “Addiction” remix but the performance there wasn’t as dynamic as the idea of it. This is different. This song was built, bottom to top, for the duo and Keri Hilson just sends it over to the top. Fabolous is back looking like he’s ‘sposed to. Its the right kind of black Hollywood; flashy but not tacky. Loso's Way in stores today!

btw, Do yourself a favor a let it play to the end.
That "every-every" is dope.

I like the white details around the lace strap on the green. That really set the shoe off.

My Saturday Night Vice

The IN Crowd.
Steph Floss and Vic Loyd came to play. Kept it funky. Vic warmed it up and Steph brought it home. I arrived kinda early (like 1130) and it was already a nice crowd. Vic was spinning and warming everything up. By 1230 Steph was on and its was jumping and by 130...It was DUMP. Don't even talk to me. Wall to wall bodies, sweat on everyone's face and bottles all over. This is the recap by the DJ Steph Floss. I'm in there somewhere screaming over the mic. HAHA. It was a barrel full of monkeys (no bigot)! What I found funny about the vid is that as it begins the lens is clear but then its gets blurry and glossy as the night progressed. Pretty accurate depiction of how I felt. NICE!

Catch Rec!

Creative Recreation - Fall 09 Italian Collection

You gotta hand it to Creative Recreation. They do live up to the name. These cats kinda go into their cave and create and just pop back up with something new and amazing. I really like the zipper thing. People been killing the straps thing and they did that like 3 years ago. Way to go CR!

No I.D. Interview w/ Decatur Dan

brought to you by Decatur Dan, Zach Wolfe and Phil Reid.

Decatur Dan Says: The other day I got a chance to cash in on a favor that I must say was well worth the wait. The back end story is way to long so I’ll save it for another day. You may or may not have heard of my friend No I.D., he recently produced Jay-Z’s latest single off of the soon to release Blueprint 3. It’s a track titled Death Of Autotune, which by the title alone you can see why it warrants much hype. I had the idea to get his thoughts about the song on camera, being that he made the song. So I ran the idea by my buddy Zach Wolfe and I knew with his years of expertise we had a mini documentary in the making. No I.D. has been in and out of the city lately so I caught up with him while he was in town for one day. The documentary takes place at the St. Regis hotel in Atlanta’s famous Buckhead region of the city. Enough talking, start watching, press play andlet the story being.

BTW: PHIL REID is the future.
