+ There's a style to the music.
+ There's a fashion to the words.

+ There's a seduction in the sound of Jay West, but what makes it provocative is all within the details.

+ The Jay West Perspective is romantic. The Jay West Aesthetic is tailored. The Jay West agenda is to INSPIRE. “Southern California’s Newest Buzzworthy Artist” is preparing a follow-up to the cult classic mixtape, “Drugs+Candy”. The table is set.

+ Say Grace.

Music To My Ears

Music that has been the talk around my block lately...

ARTIST: Raphael Saadiq
ALBUM: The Way I See It
RELEASE: SEPT. 16

From Tony Toni Tone to doing records with The Roots, DJ Quik or Snoop, Raphael Saadiq has always remained relevant. He's kept something consistent even though his shit doesn't always sound the same. He just makes good music. This time around the sound is Motown rather than Uptown. The Way I See It features the single "Oh Girl" (which I had on my own myspace page for a few weeks) and the Remix with Jay-Z. Its in stores now and you can take a listen to the tracks on his MySpace Page>>>

ARTIST: Robin Thicke
ALBUM: Something Else
RELEASE: SEPT. 30

Growing Pains and all...Robin returns with Something Else. A second LP to most of us but actually his third. Back in the days when he was wheeling thru the city on the bike with the long hair people kinda slept. You got familiar on the platinum-selling Evolution of Robin Thicke but Something Else cements Robin as a force to be reckoned with. Alas, not the R&B about a girl's ass or about tossing paper in the club, He just croons the tunes that makes the ladies swoon (i wrote that). You can preview the entire album on MySpace if you hurry>>>

ARTIST: T.I.
ALBUM: Paper Trail
RELEASE: SEPT. 30

The heavily anticipated LP from the self-proclaimed "King of the South" is PAPER TRAIL. The title of the album marks T.I.'s venture back to putting lyrics on the page in his songwriting process. You be judge on if there's a difference when you go buy the album. Here is Clifford discussing the leaks>>>
